Another Knee Update

Surgery was Tuesday.  Today is Friday. 

Each day the pain has lessened.

I have a ginormous immobilizer, wrap, ice pack and dressing on my knee.  It is so heavy that it makes standing up very painful. 

I’m still confined to my bed and have only gotten up for the bathroom. 

Brandon has brought me all of my meals in bed.  He’s also been changing my ice pack around the clock and keeping track of my pain meds.

Last night we took off the dressing and got our first look at the incisions.  It made both of us kind of queasy.

I have my surgery check-up next Thursday.  I'm really anxious to find out my rehab plan.
