Everett's Birthday

Brandon and I both took off work last Monday and Tuesday for Everett's birthday.  On Monday night we had family photos taken by Tessa Leen.  She already has them done, and I just love how they turned out.
On Tuesday morning we took Everett to his 12-month well visit.  Since it was his birthday, he got a birthday crown.  Then he got three shots.  He didn't cry too long. 

 

After Everett's appointment, we ate lunch downtown.  Daddy gave Everett a salt and vinegar chip.  We're not so sure he liked it.  He did like the pasta salad, though, and he must have had bad breath after eating it.

After we got home from Rochester, we headed to the pool.  Everett loved splashing, kicking and playing in the water.  We were surprised how much he liked it with all of the screaming kids and getting splashed in the face.  We really hope to be able to take him back before the end of the summer.

After the pool, we drove to Dodge Center to get a Dairy Queen treat.  How else do you end a hot afternoon of swimming?  Little man was in heaven eating our (his) ice cream.
