The trip started off with a 4am wake-up call in order to make it to a Cubs game on time. I was lucky and got to sleep the first half of the drive. We arrived in Schaumburg with plenty of time to get on a shuttle bus to Wrigley Field. We had hot dogs and beer and watched the Cubs beat the Brewers.

The next day was a long one. We went on an architecture river cruise, ate stuffed pizza, visited Millenium Park, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Willis Tower skydeck.

On Saturday we went to two museums, the Museum of Science and Industry and the Field Museum, and Navy Pier. Both museums were ginormous, and we were pretty much museumed out by the end of the day.

Our camera battery died at Navy Pier, so we have no photos of the Shedd Aquarium, which we visited on Sunday. I do, however, have one special treat. The toilet seat covers in Union Station amazed me. You push a red button and new plastic covers the seat. I think EVERY public restroom should have these!!!
By the way, I LOVE CHICAGO!
